One-off Projects
You have a project due soon. You may need to find one person to do the job, or you may need to quickly round up a team to get it done on time. In either case, you need an expert “intervention.” And that’s where we come in. It’s not any more complicated than that! Here are some recent “interventions” we’ve done for our clients:
- A large company …
- …with an international presence that outsources its web sites and advertising to communications agencies worldwide, who translate them into the major world languages. If British English is used, then the client probably won’t want to run an ad campaign intended for England in the United States or Canada. The client therefore contacts us to see whether or not the campaign is suitable linguistically and culturally for a North-American audience. We localise the content as needed, even if it means rewriting the advertising copy.
- A para-public organization…
- …was overhauling its website. They hired a web development company for the design and integration, but had their own employees write the texts for union reasons. Their project manager felt somewhat overwhelmed by all the work involved in content creation: supervising the writers and ensuring that they were all aware of content issues. So we were asked to intervene to help them point out potential problems and lessen their burden by giving them courses in Web writing, among other things.
- One of our suppliers…
- …a company with over 75 employees had doubts about its website. They were hoping their site would give them a competitive advantage in what they do, which is headhunting. Well, after performing an initial analysis, we found that their site was doing them more harm than good. Since they were already familiar with our company values and work ethic, they decided they wanted us to completely overhaul their website. We undertook this project with several of our trusted partners. Our client was so impressed with the final result that they now rely on us for all their Web communications.
